A Determination to Live: Chiang's Story

When Chiang showed up at the feeding station in early 2021, the volunteers were immediately taken with him. He was the sweetest kitten, but there was no explanation for how he ended up in this area. Chiang is a beautiful male Abyssinian Arabian Mau cat with copper eyes and fluffy white/grey hair. He showed up at the feeding station in early 2021 as a tiny, frightened kitten. Despite being in an environment that was not conducive to pet life, he had the determination to live and survive. This is his story.

How Chiang won the hearts of many

IPW HC-21.001 is a very harsh area with no pet-friendly shelters and many stray dogs. This is where Chiang was found - alone, scared, and without any explanation of how he ended up there. We estimate him to be born in January 2022 at 0.6 years old - barely older than a baby kitten when we first encountered him.

Despite these odds against him, Chiang has grown into an outgoing and funny cat who loves cuddling in the sun! His biological age may be young, but his spirit is old beyond his years; he has proven himself to be a fighter determined to make it through whatever life throws his way. He deserves the chance to live life as a pet in a loving home with all of the comforts and care that are due to him after all that he has been through.

Physically, Chiang is in pretty good shape. He is average-height with soft skin, Grey/White hair and copper eyes. Chiang wants to study Ornithology at college but has a severe phobia of ducks.
